Training of Anganwadi Workers: In order to improve the learning and health of the Anganwadi children, special training was given to the Anganwadi workers and helpers. The training aimed to create awareness amongst the Anganwadi workers about the various physical, emotional, intellectual developments of various phases between the ages of 0-6 years. It also aimed to improve the attendance of the children in the Anganwadis by organizing various contests like fancy dress, sports, and healthy baby. Parents-teachers’ meetings were conducted to highlightthe importance of Anganwadi education and vaccination amongst the rural parents. All the activities and events organised for the benefit of the Anganwadi children were very well received by the Sarpanches, Anganwadi workers, and helpers, Anganwadi children, and also their parents.
