ICECD has carried out a wide range of research projects, Needs Assessment (for training and content/ curriculum development) in rural areas, tribal areas, urban slums at national and international levels - in association with Central and State Government, Autonomous Institutions, Corporate Sector and International Agencies like CIDA, ILO, CARE, SMEDAN, Commonwealth Federation, World Bank, etc. These include both qualitative and quantitative surveys in areas like:

| Conducted a study on creating and enabling environment for Women's Economic Empowerment through Entrepreneurship in India, including comprehensive review of national policies and laws, case study of women entrepreneurs, also identification of strategies and policy option to enhance opportunity for women entrepreneurship. This was done for United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP). Presentation for the findings was presented in Beijing, China. | |
