The EME course is an integration of business management with the art of entrepreneurship, thereby developing a caliber to successfully manage enterprises. Case studies and fundaments of management taught by expert faculty develop insights on topics ranging from best practices and leadership to human resource management. The course imparts tools, tips and techniques to navigate to the world of business, to successfully manage small and medium scale enterprises on their own or family-owned business and to be managers with the entrepreneurial spirit in the corporate sector. Course Objective:

The EME trains management professionals to play a key role in their organization’s strategic management and in strengthening relationships within the enterprise on one hand and with stakeholders and public on the other, in congruence to the business management policies,targeting individuals wanting to associate with or start micro/small/medium enterprises with investment ranging from Rs. 25 lakhs to Rs. 2 crores and above.

The Course Design :

This PGDEME (own and family business) provides unique opportunities to students to start their own business / enterprise or to expand I diversify their existing / family business. The course would empower students to deal with intricacies of current industrial scenario, and develop their ideas into growth-oriented business.

Specialization :

In the concentration packages above, the students would have studied the theoretical aspects. The specialization will provide them an opportunity for linking the theory to the practical aspects in the development perspectives. This hands-on experiential process would enhance the student's learning and capability.

The students will select any one subject as their area of specialization.These elective subjects will be studied in the second semester.

Eligibility and Admission Procedure :

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree awarded by any of the University in India or other educational Institute established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section-3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by Government of India. Students appearing in the final year degree examination, at the time of application, can also apply. Due consideration is given to candidates belonging to the weaker sections, Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), and differently abled categories of students. The admission process consists of entrance examination and personal interview. Scores of competitive exams like CAT, CET, MAT and GCET, etc. will be given due consideration.

Candidates (Minimum Graduate) can apply online through institute's website. The eligible candidates will be interviewed online. The final selection is based on his/her performance in the interview.
