These programmes focused on increasing people’s awareness of hazards arising out of poor upkeep of surrounding environment and use of unhygienic drinking water.
Initiatives under this component of holistic development include awareness program and counselling for drinking water and water management.
Activities include:
>> Awareness camps on clean water, waste water disposal, importance and impact of cleanliness
>> Rain water harvesting structures
>> Developing soak pits and kitchen gardens
>> Tree plantation, afforestation for better environment
>> Cleaning of streets and community places
>> Sanitation facilities
