Similarly, it has been realized world-wide that without NGO’s active involvement, the required level of social development is impossible to attain. This course prepares new generation leaders and professionals with knowledge and skills for development of well-managed, pro-active and people-oriented development organizations.

The Post-graduate Diploma curriculum leaves no stone unturned in including these in the most effective manner and preparing students to face the challenges in days to come. The one-year PG Diploma in NGO Management course is an innovative initiative that has a clear objective focusing on preparing new generation leaders for creating / managing NGOs professionally.

The Course Design:
The course covers concepts, theories, practices and international experiences of NGOs comprehensively designed to cover the following major subjects:
Concentration Packages:
- The role of NGOs
- Development components of NGOs
- NGO project management and development
- Organizational capacity building and human resources development
- Sustainability,growth,change and development
Specialization:
In the concentration packages above, the students would have studied the theoretical aspects.Thespecializationwill provide them an opportunity for linking the theory to the practical aspects in the development perspective. This hands-on experiential process would enhance the student's learning and capability.
The students will select any one subject as their area of specialization. These elective subjects will be studied in the second semester.
Eligibility and Admission Procedure:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree awarded by any of the University in India or other educational Institute established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section-3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by Government of India. Students appearing in the final year degree examination, at the time of application, can also apply. Due consideration is given to candidates belonging to the weaker sections, Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), and differently abled categories of students. The admission process consists of entrance examination and personal interview. Scores of competitive exams like CAT, CET, MAT and GCET, etc. will be given due consideration.
Candidates (Minimum Graduate) can apply online through institute's website. The eligible candidates will be interviewed online. The final selection is based on his/her performance in the interview.
