Women undergo the Entrepreneurship Training in Bavla Village

ICECD faculty teaches accounts keeping to beneficiaries as they reach the end of EDP Training in Bagodara village

Creation of liveliood through Entrepreneurship Development being ICECD’s forte is one of the key areas of intervention.

Focused training has been imparted to more hundreds of men and women of the community which has led them to become self-employed or find job work within their village.

Becoming self-reliant has iproved their socio-economic status and given them the motivation to grow their businesses thus improving their standard of living.

The project has empowered more women than men, thereby also setting in motion social reforms within the villages.

More than 70% of these men and women earn anywhere between Rs. 2000 to Rs. 15,000 per month in their villages and are contributing to their family’s well-being. Some have been linked with banks for loans and are thus a part of the mainstream economy.
