The productive capacity and employabnility of a person is dependent on health, the most important component of human resource development and this directly leads to poverty eradication. Preventive and Curative dimensions were adopted with the following objectives.

ICECD’s health programmes covered two dimensions – preventive as well as curative.
Preventive programmes included creating awareness on various health issues like mother and child health,
adolescent health, safe drinking water, proper nutrition and clean environment.
Curative programmes include interventions through doctors, medicines, health check-ups, etc.

The Health Exhibitions aimed at spreading awarenes about importance of following healthy lifestyle habits, proper diet and nutrition and vaccinations. It also highlighted the preventive and curative measures to be taken in case of various diseases like that of cancer, diabetes, blood pressure, skin disease and also Covid-19 related Corona virus disease. The Health Check-up camps ensured proper diagnosis of various diseases and suggesting curative measures and creating essential linkages. The target groups are men, women adolascent girls & boys and and children with special focus.
The main aim of the ICECD Health Camps is to provide doctors attention and checkups on general and specific health issues of women and children. Camps shall be done in a village every year and the reach out target through health camps is more than 15,000 population every year.
