Women Empowerment >> EDP for Urban Women
A Women Entrepreneur displaying products
Every woman can live an economically independent life with dignity by way of establishing small and medium businesses in the market place. After removing all hindrances coming in the way of her development, each woman has attained financial independence.
ICECD has therefore scientifically designed and successfully implemented WED modules where the emphasis is on linking up women with the right kind of business opportunity and which has a special component of their competency development.
And thus, ICECD trained women have proved their great potential as successful entrepreneurs.
Some of these entrepreneurs today head several enterprises like electronic multimeters and other products, twisted yarn, stapler pins, security alarms, health care products, plastic factories and trading and export houses, food products and some traditional garment products.
