Women Empowerment >> EDP for Rural Women: PAN India
Women attending Enterpreneurship Training Programme
These are the women who lived in the shadows of poverty, low self-esteem and lack of self- worth. They feared to step out of their homes, had no say in the decision making at home and were completely dependent.
Need-based Women Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (WEDPs) at ICECD adopt a systematic approach of identifying and selecting the capable
rural women, developing and educating them and then providing follow-up support to enable these women to
initiate their micro and small enterprises with reasonable earning across India (Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Bengal, Jharkhand and more).
The training is given in three steps right from the thought of self-employment till its implementation.
