MSME Development >> Digitizing Rural Entrepreneurship
Candidate undergo a Need Assessment interview for the training
ICECD over the years has trained thousands of experts and organizations across the globe to further train entrepreneurs in varied geographies.
Adding to that ICECD had done a pilot Training of Trainers (TOT) program with Dharma Life in 2015 to train entrepreneurs in the
business of solar lights.
Post these over 1000 rural entrepreneurs have been trained by them. To address some challenges
that they were facing in terms of time and resources, they were considering conducting
virtual training which would help to increase reach-out and make it cost effective.
Dharma Life and International Finance Corporation (IFC) sought ICECD's expertise to conduct a Needs Assessment and propose a relevant and cost-effective training solution to address the challenges. ICECD worked on this project which involved cost analysis, assessment of learning approach as well as analysis of technical considerations in the process of digitizing the Entrepreneurship Development Module.
